Hello, I'm Lyn

Having experienced the value of therapy during significant periods of my own life, I appreciate the importance of taking this step and am glad you are embarking on this journey.

Since my first child was born I knew that I wanted to help people achieve their potential through counselling and psychotherapy and first started training in Transactional Analysis in 2010, a collaborative, empowering approach that explores how past experiences, especially childhood, shape current thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

My background

My previous career managing individuals and teams has given me invaluable experience in supporting people achieve their goals.
Having built a successful career in both manufacturing and office environments, I understand first-hand the pressures that come from wanting to perform at your best, whilst maintaining a healthy life balance and nurturing, meaningful relationships.

Over the past 15 years, I have trained extensively to change my career - as well as four years of Transactional Analysis Counselling & Psychotherapy training I have developed skills in Neuro Linguistic Programming and Life Coaching.  I also bring substantial counselling experience volunteering for mental health charities.

Being adopted at birth, I have a particular interest in how early childhood experiences and developmental trauma can shape us later in life.

Outside of my professional life, I love animals, have a passion for mindfulness in nature, and enjoy learning anything that deepens my understanding of people and the world around me.
